No 8 Shore is a large, comfortable, very spacious 3 bedroom self catering flat on the second floor of an original 150 year old sandstone building with fabulous views overlooking the harbour in the historical town of Arbroath with its 1000 year old Abbey and deep history. The harbour itself is busy with working fishing boats beside pleasure boats and a life-boat station as well as visiting yachts into the marina, directly over-looked to the south and over the sea from the lounge and two of the bedrooms. So you can be ‘part of it all’ yet remote if you wish! Ideal base to explore eastern part of Scotland with plenty of history, walks, fishing, cycle routes. Alternatively if you are already familiar with Arbroath, you might, like a lot of our visitors who return year after year, may just want to use the flat as a base for visiting relatives rather than imposing yourself on them you can have a base to retreat to at nights and come and go as you please.

As part of a 150 year old red sandstone building it has a lot of charm. Built beside Arbroath Harbour with its colourful working fishing boats next to pleasure craft and opposite the lifeboat station, which you can see looking to the south from the lounge window.

The lounge/dining area is fully carpeted and 2 of the bedrooms have sea views.

The bathroom is spacious and has a bath/shower with non-slip floor tiles. There is also a separate smaller shower room with wash hand basin and WC.

The kitchen is well equipped and has a similar floor to the bathroom.

Electric heated throughout and flexible so individual radiators can be adjusted or turned on or off as required to suit your needs and there are thermostat controls in each room for added control.

There is ample storage space for your clothes and belongings.
